Who we are looking to add to our team:
We are looking to add a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer! We are looking for a qualified candidate who’d like to help us with connecting with our borrowers and prospects. Once connected, we need you to guide them through the online application process, complete any missing information, and collect the minimum necessary documents. We use the best technology to make sure that there is the least amount of friction to get the borrower into the Processing Team. This team member will have a strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and have an extensive working knowledge of the mortgage industry, guidelines, and regulations. Please note while we don’t require our team members to be local (meaning we will consider remote employees).
Responsibilities:
- Contact all borrowers and potential leads
- Update the Salesforce platform with daily activities
- Utilize Encompass with the borrower information to complete the 1003 and Summary forms
- Run Borrower Credit once authorization is received
- Update the Run AUS and analyze results
- Manage prequalification pipeline
- Analyze income to work to ensure the borrowers are preliminarily qualified
- Complete thorough review of borrower’s financial situation to include but not limited to: credit, income, assets, REO, and subject property to assess ability to close loan/s and determine future eligibility
- Collect all documents needed for initial submission into loan processing
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years underwriting experience
- Strong understanding of investment property financing a huge plus
- Strong Problem solving skills
- Excellent customer Service skills
- Strong knowledge of guidelines
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to be resourceful, manage time efficiently, work unsupervised while also working as part of the team
- Excellent research and decision making ability
